Pier to Market – Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Pier to Market: Idle Fishing ("the Game", "we", "us") handles information. The Game is developed by Sıtkı Can ERZURUM ("SceApps").
We do not run our own servers and we do not ask for your name, email address or any account. The Game uses a few services from Apple, Google and Meta, described below.
1. Information handled by the Game
- Game progress: Your progress (coins, gems, upgrades, settings) is saved on your device. If cloud save is available, a copy is stored in your own iCloud account (iOS) or Google Play Games Saved Games (Android) so you can restore it after reinstalling. We cannot access these copies.
- Purchases: In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your name, payment card or billing details. The Game keeps a transaction identifier on your device only to deliver your purchase once.
- Notifications: If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification service is used.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Game is played (for example, tutorial completion, level progress, which features are used, app version, device model, country and crash-free usage). This data is not linked to your name or email and is used only to improve the Game.
- Advertising: The Game shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Ads are shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward. To serve and measure ads, Google may process device information such as your IP address, device model, operating system, advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and ad interaction data.
- Measuring our own ads (Meta): We may advertise the Game on Facebook and Instagram. To measure and improve those ads, the Game uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which sends Meta a small set of standard app events: app installation and launch, tutorial completion, level (map) reached, in-app purchases (price and currency only) and rewarded ad views (including the estimated ad revenue). Together with these events Meta may receive device information such as your IP address, device model, operating system, app version and, where permitted, your advertising identifier. The Game does not use Facebook Login, does not need a Facebook account and never sends your name, email or payment details to Meta.
2. Your choices and consent
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: Before any ads are requested, the Game shows Google's consent message, where you can accept, reject or choose personalised or non-personalised ads. The Meta SDK is started only if you give consent there (to store and/or access information on your device); if you do not, no data is sent to Meta. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options; ads and Meta measurement follow your new choice.
- US states with privacy laws: Where required, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information in Settings → Privacy options.
- iOS App Tracking Transparency: The Game never asks for tracking permission when it starts. After you finish the tutorial (or, at the latest, before your first rewarded ad) we explain the request and then iOS asks whether you allow tracking. If you do not allow it, your advertising identifier is not shared with Google or Meta for tracking; the Game, ads and rewards still work the same. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Meta: If you use Facebook or Instagram, you can disconnect information that apps share with Meta in your Facebook settings under "Your activity off Meta technologies", and control ad preferences in Meta's Accounts Center.
- Analytics: You can limit analytics by resetting your advertising identifier or by uninstalling the Game.

4. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
5. Data retention
Game progress on your device is deleted when you delete the Game. Cloud copies can be removed through your iCloud or Google Play Games settings. Firebase Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Data received by Google and Meta is kept according to their own privacy policies linked above.
6. Data deletion
We do not hold any account or personal profile about you, so there is nothing stored on our side to delete. To remove data related to the Game:
- Delete the Game from your device; this removes all local progress and stops all data collection.
- Remove cloud copies in your iCloud settings (iOS) or Google Play Games settings (Android).
- Reset or delete your advertising identifier (see section 2). Data that Google and Meta have already received can then no longer be linked to your device.
- To remove information apps have shared with Meta, use "Your activity off Meta technologies" in your Facebook settings, or contact Meta through its privacy policy linked above.
- You can also email us at sceapps@icloud.com with the subject "Data deletion – Pier to Market". We will answer within 30 days and help you with your request.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change how the Game handles information, we will update this policy and the effective date above before the change is released.
